LLP Streakin Passion "Sister"

I purchased Sister as a three year-old and her journey with EquiPride started pretty quickly. She battled some episodes of tying up during her first summer on the barrels. accompanied with some time off and other diet changes, it was recommended by my veterinarian to increase her equipride intake. after this, we went straight into a battle with ulcers. with some treatment and equipride she bounced back like a champ. she has been on equipride & equilix since i purchased her and will always be on this product. the recent revamp of the formula to include the garlic to help with insect/pest control from the inside out has helped her this summer. in the past her eyes have drained because of fly/pest irriatation, but this year the equipride has eliminated this problem for us. she has definitely proven to be my "problem child" but i am thankful that i've had equipride as a consistent constant to keep her happy and healthy through many obstacles that are stressful on a horse and their internal health. she stalls great, hauls great, and her temperament is wonderful.

Prissin To Kill "Prissy"

I purchased Prissy as a four year-old, she is now 10. She has been on EquiPride & EquiLix for a little over four years now. this mare has had incredible results from the product. by nature she has a tendency to be a nervous, flighty horse. I have always battled her pacing in the stall and sometimes even in a turnout or the horse trailer. over time I have been able to adjust her equipride & equilix intake to suit her needs and find that balance that seems to work for her. she always lets me know when she's off her routine or if i need to increase her feedings, and that is something i love about equipride is that you cannot over feed it, so when i, as a horse owner who studies my horse and her needs, sees that she may need an increased feeding amount, i can administer that with no questions or concerns. over the years of me owning and learning her, i have seen changes in her attitude towards horses and people. she has grown more and more accepting of people, affection, being caught, allowing fly masks to be put on, etc. the equipride & equilix have done a phenomenal job of keeping her internally sound. what do i mean by this? she has not showed any signs or symptoms of having ulcers. she has not had any episodes of colic, or colic-like symptoms. she always eats & drinks well. and lastly, she has kept weight on better in the last two years than she ever has before!! as a nervous horse, with habits of pacing, along with being small in size, weight has not been the easiest challenge for us to maintain, but as i feel we  have developed a solid routine, she has been consistent in her weight.

To take things a step further, let's talk about performance.

this mare walks flat-footed into the arena, every time. most of the time she also helps walk other horses in. this is HUGE for her because before balancing her on equipride, she would baulk at the alley, spin left, and run away from the alley. As barrel racers, we all know how important it is that a horse doesn't use themselves up in the alley before a run, right? So I reiterate just how huge this is!!

I can also say this mare only gets maintenance hock injections about once every year and a half. this is also huge! most maintenance injections are six months to a year in our industry. though equipride is not a joint supplement, the combination of ingredients and vitamins and minerals all work together to promote joint lubricity, and in turn lengthen that time between injections. some may question how much of this is actually equipride? But how much of this could actually be coincidence when you have a horse competing over the years from the 2D, to the 1D, to winning rodeos. that level of competition is strenuous on a horse and maintenance is super important to keep them feeling their best.

this horse has competed so well over the last few years, but has rocketed during the 2019 season and I know there are several factors to account for because it takes every ounce of effort to keep these athletes performing at their best, but equipride is not to be counted out when i consider things like veterinarian work, farrier work, exercise, feed, forage, etc. equipride is like clean water around my house, we just don't go without it!
